Shinkansen bullet trains

Limited express trains
Scenic limited express trains such as Hida, Thunderbird, Kuroshio and Super Ozora reach mountains, coasts and onsen towns beyond the Shinkansen. Seat reservations are free with your pass.

Rapid and local JR lines
Use your pass on JR rapid and local trains in every city, including the Yamanote line loop in Tokyo and the Osaka Loop line. Just walk through the ticket gate and board.
Airport trains
Narita Express connects Narita Airport with Tokyo, Shinjuku and Yokohama, and Haruka links Kansai Airport with Kyoto and Osaka. Both are included and make your first ride in Japan effortless.
JR buses and ferries
Your pass also covers local JR bus routes and the JR ferry to Miyajima, so you can reach the famous floating torii gate without an extra ticket.
Nozomi and Mizuho
The fastest Nozomi and Mizuho trains can be added with a supplementary ticket, while Hikari and Sakura on the same routes are fully included.
