Nozomi is the fastest service on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen between Tokyo, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Hakata. Mizuho runs the fastest trips between Shin-Osaka and Kagoshima-Chuo on the Sanyo and Kyushu Shinkansen.
